full machine simulation capability, extending the already comprehensive
verification and visualisation tools. Complete machine tools may be
accurately modelled and their movement shown throughout the machining
process.

The latest release of EdgeCAM Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software
offers unparalleled levels of ease of use, visualisation and toolpath
generation for mill and mill/turn programming. This release marks an
important stage in the evolution of the EdgeCAM product range of
manufacturing solutions.

The new capability is especially useful for Mill/Turn applications where
there is an increased potential for expensive collisions because of the
confined nature of the machines and the number of moveable items on the
machine tool.

Fully detailed machine tool models may be developed in any 3D CAD system
and turrets (with complete tooling), sub-spindle or tailstock and b-axis
indexing head can all be displayed with full movement. EdgeCAM machine
simulation helps ensure safe operation even during complex multi-turret
machining and spindle to spindle part transfer operations.

Reductions in lead time are achieved with EdgeCAM by proving out complex
programs before they are posted to the machine tool. The graphical
timeline in machine simulation allows operations on different turrets and
